"See Spot Run" by Kathy Morrow
See Spot Run by Kathy Morrow. Giclee on Canvas, 12 x 16, #68 of 95, Red and Brown Wood Frame.
The eagle feather is painted with four horses that represent the Rainbow of Mankind: Red, Yellow, Black and White. The Appaloosa pony is patterned with many colors to represent harmony. After finishing the painting and thinking about what I would call it, a phrase from the Dick & Jane Reader came to mind. I chuckled a little to myself as I named it “See Spot Run”. It seemed the perfect title.
Giclée printing is a process that uses fade-resistant, archival inks and archival substrates to print on large format printers. Giclée printing is often used by artists to make reproductions of their original two-dimensional artwork, photographs or computer-generated art for resale while preserving the original.
